Scrunchies originated in the year 1980’s and were particularly popular in 1980to 1990 including more elaborate versions. They are basically elastic hair ties with elaborate styles and diminutive unassuming form available in many different colors, fabrics, and designs. They were also worn around wrists and ankles to enhance an outfit. Madonna wore a large velvet scrunchie in Desperately Seeking Susan.

3. Juicy Couture Velour Track Suits

Juicy Track Suits were very popular in the 2000s. In the 2000s comfort was cool and Juicy tracks provided both comfort and trend. A character from Desperate Housewives, Eva Longoria, wore a juicy tracksuit, and also the real Eva Longoria at a grocery store. They indicatedthe cool status. Along with Eva, Summer Roberts on the O.C. (2004), Amy Poehler in Mean Girls (2004), and every female in middle school (2001-2004) wore the Juicy couture velour track suits.

Crocs celebrated their ugliness, which allowed them to stay relevant in the fashion world. They didn’t deny their aesthetics but celebrated their comfort, versatility, and color offerings.

5. Gaucho

These are the pants for females that are wide-legged with cuffsaround the mid-calf. Theywere named after the pants that were worn by cowboysof South America.They were in trend in the 1970s. They were longer and were made to serve as an alternative to formal skirts and slacks.

6. Ponchos

Ponchos first originated as raincoats than it met with Latin American Culture. It became a very popular winter wear among people. It keeps you warm and it was cool as well.

7. Shutter Shades

Kanye West wore a pair of custom shutter shades by Alain Mikli in his debut music video and album art for ‘Stronger’. They became his style symbol. After this the shutter shades became popular and were in trend from 2006 till 2012.

8. Socks and Sandals

In 2010, the newspaper Daily Telegram reported that wearing socks and sandals was a hit for spring/summer of that year. From 2010 to 2014,socks and sandals became a fashion trend according to many sources. They appeared in many runway shows, including those of MiuMiu (2010) and Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen (2014).
