With the new Bond movie all set for release, Skyfall style is the latest craze in the fashion circles.
Stephen Webster was commissioned by jewelry brand Swarovski to design jewelry for the newest Bond girl on the block – Berenice Marlohe. Here is a quick look at the Swarovski Skyfall collection.
The collection features four themes – Queen Cobra Collection, Love Knot collection, Heat Seeker Collection and Black Bamboo Collection.
Queen Cobra Collection
This set of jewelry visualizes the cobra and gives it a feminine touch to the darker side of the protagonist. The double ring has red crystals for eyes set against the dark color of the body. The big bold crystal depicts the forbidden fruit. This design is also available in the pendant form.
Love Knot Collection
This collection was designed to resemble the strongest symbol of love, the love knot. Influence of the adder is seen in designing this traditional symbol. Trademark Pointiage setting has been used by the designer to bring together this masterpiece using black and clear crystal types. The collection features the entire set of accessories – a ring, earrings, a bangle and a pendant.
Heat Seeker Collection
The collection has hint of masculine inspiration to it and hence weighs a little bit towards the unisex accessory. However, the clever use of crystal combinations makes it graceful enough to qualify as a feminine piece. The set features matching earrings, pendant and a ring.
Black Bamboo Collection
An epitome of elegance, this collection is inspired by a very unusual element – bamboo. You can choose from the 7 cm long earrings or go for the pendant depending on which of your assets you want to flaunt. The unique setting combines adventure, excitement and glamour all very easily to cast a dramatic impression on the beholders.
The lead girl was seen flaunting a part of the collection for the exclusive World Premier of the movie held in London last week. You can also have a closer look at the love knot earrings that she displays in the new Heineken advertisements and commercials being aired on the small screens. One can see that Severine (played by Berenice Marlohe) mixes the collection to create the desired impact. You too can do the same.
