For all the guys out there: you don’t have to stop thinking about fashion when summer ends. There are a lot of things to consider during the cold season also, and you have to keep sure that you maintain the fashionable image that you have built up.

Fashionable Guy This Winter

Winter hat

If you would like to make sure that you stay on top of the fashion list, make sure that you go for the traditional winter hats. It is true that there are a lot of choices and some are really functional, although they look as they were knitted by grandma. These might keep you warm, but for sure they aren’t fashion friendly. So, during this time you should go for the fedoras, basic ski caps, bowlers and newsboy hats.

On the other hand make sure that you won’t get anywhere near earmuffs, pom-pom hats, ear warmers or anything that has been made by a friend or relative.

Before the synthetic materials were found, humans had been using one of the organic materials to fight cold: leather. In case you are willing to make a larger investment into a leather jacket, for example, you can be sure that you will be warm during winter.

In order to take care of leather you should use water repellant sprays. In case of shoes once you get in the house make sure that you clean the salt off. No matter what items you opt for, you can be sure that you are going to be fashionable. Nonetheless there are also some aspects that you have to be careful about. Never buy cheap leather, keep away from salt and don’t get near a radiator.

This is one of the major trends of this season, and one of the best items to be thinking about when it comes to layering is the vest. This item can be used over a sweater that you thought you could never layer and so you will be warm and fashionable in the same time.

To make sure that you don’t ruin your style, one of the most important things to keep in mind is to pair the items. As an example if you have a chunky sweater, you should also have a chunky vest. Make sure that you won’t wear oversized vests and there should be no reindeer patterns.

Tie the knot

On your scarf! There are several knotting techniques, and the main ones include the Parisian knot. If you use this you can be sure that you will lose the least amount of heat through your neck. On the other hand, in case it isn’t that cold, you could also have the scarf wrapped around your neck once, leaving the ends loose. One thing that you should never do is to throw one of the ends over your shoulder. You might end up looking just like a cartoon character.

Don’t consider being fashionable something with a lot of fuss; actually it is meant to be fun.
